I think it is a unique trait of humans that we always hope in the future. We all hope despite our current reality. Spring has sprung and we shrug off the cold of winter with its stagnant growth and on the 1st, as if it is a new dawn, we get up with hope for sun, warmth, growth and renewal. We look at nature and we can’t help but apply that thought/ idea, to our whole lives and our futures. We need hope or all is lost. The sun rises every morning, and the Word tells us that His blessings are new every morning. The vast majority of people place their ultimate hope in a sky hook. His children have hope because He, Jesus – God in the flesh – is our hope.
A first for us to see the Namaqua flowers. It is a spectacle worthy of a bucket list. Took the chaps with us. A day of being in awe of God. If He dresses the flowers this way, what would He do for us? After the winter restoration begins. The guys are busy restoring the two dining room tables. Much sanding and then covering with a sealer.
The season changes and new adventures begin. The chaps are enjoying getting into surfing, sunsets, beach walks, and dinners on the beach. Come on summer. As the boys look forward to their next season, we zoom in on re-entry and strategies to be the young men of God they can be. Seed is sown but it will not grow unless God brings the growth. We obey and disciple. The Lord sanctifies and puts us to work.
