Psalm 8:4 asks the question, “What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him.”

I must say when I step back and look at what has risen out of the ground as it were, and that we get to live here, I must ask that question. He does not treat us as we deserve but as a Father who is growing us for His sake and for His purposes.

All the work still lies ahead but we are home. Home where our kids have visited us and were the first to stay over. Home where friends visit and can for a moment let their guard down and breathe. Home where Suann spoils us all with great food made with love. Home where the love of God is made visible.

A joy to take friends on a hike around the hill behind us with stunning views. A joy to testify to the Lord’s provision of really good beds and two full sets of really good bedding.

A joy to serve a really good, good Father.
